Abstract: The will be a look at what bioinformatics is and what bioinformaticians do. Bioinformatics is a big field that seems to mean slightly different things to different people. As a result, it can be quite hard to know exactly what this field is all about for outsiders. This talk would give a broad overview of what bioinformatics is and what bioinformaticians do.
