Dr. Ashraf jahanian has served Higher Education as a Senior Professor, Researcher and Executive, with years of Leadership and Teaching proven Intellect at diverse platforms spanning Asia, Africa, , Europe and North America. He is honored as Expert to participate in International and National HEC initiatives related to Human resource and Research Development in Pakistan and a Member Board of Advisors and Board of Directors Human Development Foundation (HDF), Member Academic Council & Advance Study and Research Board of Pak – Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences & Technology Mang, Haripure, KPK, Pakistan. He is Adjunct Scientist, Plant Pathology Department of Washington State University (WSU), USA and Adjunct Professor, Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformicts, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), Pakistan. He has written, defended and acquired PC1 and research grants from International and National funding agencies for institutional infrastructure development. He is the Founding Principal of Atta- Ur- Rahman School of Applied Biosciences (ASAB), National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) Islamabad, Founder Chairman of Department of Plant Sciences, Quaid – i- Azam University, Islamabad, Founder Director of QAU Botanical Gardens, and First President of Pakistan National Association of Fulbright Alumni (Pak – NAFA). He has availed prestigious honors and awards such as Fulbright, Third world Academy of Sciences & Chinese Academy of Sciences, Marie Curie EU, British Council Research fellow, DAAD, NSERC- Canada etc. He has supervised PhD, MPhil and MS theses. He has Co-authored Books and Book chapters that are published by International Publishers including papers in ISI impact factor journals.
