Topic of Research Seminar: i-Talk: Emerging role of nanotechnology in restorative dentistry

Abstract: Various systemic diseases can affect the health of teeth and surrounding structures. Nanotechnology offers great promise for improving the treatment outcomes for dental manifestations. Innovative materials for preventing secondary caries, enhancing barrier function and promoting tissue regeneration, can help in restoring dental health and preserving tooth-supporting structures.

Our speaker is currently serving as Associate Professor at SMME, NUST. She has ten years of experience of administration, education and classroom procedures. She headed the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Sciences and promotes interdisciplinary research and culture. Her research interests are pre-clinical and Clinical Studies of advance materials for biomedical applications.
