Abstract

Graph coloring is one of the fundamental concepts of graph theory and has numerous applications in real-world problems, particularly in computer science and related fields. The main aim of this seminar is to highlight the role of graph coloring in modeling and solving practical problems involving conflicts, resource allocation, scheduling, grouping, and network management. The seminar demonstrates how real-world problems can be represented using graphs and how proper vertex or edge coloring can provide effective solutions to these problems. These applications illustrate how graph coloring provides a systematic mathematical framework for addressing practical problems and can also serve as a useful tool for researchers working on problems in computer science and other applied areas.
