Strengthening Research Culture!
Organized by the Research Directorate, NUST, the program brought together emerging researchers for a focused session on strengthening research capacity and publication readiness. Key areas covered manuscript preparation, AI ethics and plagiarism in research, journal selection and indexing criteria, submission guidelines, result replication, addressing reviewer comments, and strategies for the promotion of published research.
The session was led by esteemed mentors Dr. Faisal Abbas, Dr. Faisal Jamil, Dr. Saeeda Khanum, and Dr. Fawad Khan, who shared valuable research strategies and academic guidance with participating researchers.
This initiative reflects NUST’s continued commitment to equipping early-career researchers with the practical tools and mentorship needed to navigate the research and publication process effectively, in line with the Research Directorate’s broader mission of building a strong, sustainable research culture across the university.
