DR. FAISAL MASUD OF HOUSTON METHODIST HOSPITAL TO DELIVER A “LEADERSHIP SEMINAR” AT NUST BUSINESS SCHOOL

Dr. Faisal Masud, MD, FCCP, FCCM is the Medical Director at Houston Methodist Hospital and a Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medical College, at Houston Methodist Institute of Academic Medicine. He received his initial training in Critical Care & Cardiac Anesthesia at Duke University and Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Masud’s leadership resulted in great improvements in patient care and clinical outcomes which resulted in saving hundreds of lives and millions of dollars in cost. For this purpose, Houston Mayor, Sylvester Turner commended him for his leadership and service to the community during the coronavirus pandemic and honored him with Points of Light Inspiration Honor Roll 2021.
He has been leading the charge against COVID-19 and also providing education, training, innovation and public engagement for the local, national and global audience. He has been an invited guest on various media houses (CNN, NPR, FOX etc.) and interviewed by many international newspapers (New York Times, Wall Street Journal etc). Dr. Masud has supervised various research projects, written publications and has been an invited faculty at multiple international conferences and meetings.
Keeping in view his contribution to the medical society, NUST has invited Dr. Faisal Masud to deliver a “Leadership Seminar” at the NUST Business School seminar hall on the 23rd of May 2022 at 0945 hrs.
