MOU SIGNING AT TOTAL PARCO PAKISTAN LIMITED (TPPL)

The Chief Executive Officer of TOTAL PARCO Pakistan Limited (TPPL), Mr Mehmet Celepoglu, had an initial visit to NUST on 09th April 2021, to discuss possible collaboration avenues on digital #innovation. The visit entailed deliberations over many R&D projects along with identification of training and induction opportunities. It was highlighted that devising pragmatic solutions is the need of the hour and hiring Digital Managers from NUST will be of great help to achieve this objective. The visit concluded with a resolve to formalize partnerships in areas of mutual interest.
Therefore, to collaborate on digital innovation initiatives contributing towards and accelerating the #DigitalTransformation of TOTAL PARCO, a MoU signing ceremony was held in Lahore on 16th June 2021. The importance of inducting digital #technologies in the oil and gas sector was further highlighted as they have a key role in the future for oil extraction and management of fuel stations.
Furthermore, TPPL offered induction of top 05 students from multiple engineering and non-engineering backgrounds on an immediate basis. NUST and TPPL have also agreed to initiate student exchange programme, talent acquisition, professional development of employees, and contribution in NUST endowments as part of this MoU.
