NUST HOSTED VC’s FROM LEADING BANGLADESHI UNIVERSITIES

NUST recently welcomed a high-level delegation of Vice Chancellors from leading Bangladeshi universities and officials from COMSTECH. This “Special Rectors Meeting for Bangladesh” aimed to foster cross-border academic and research collaborations.
Senior NUST leadership, including Pro-Rector (RIC) Dr. Rizwan Riaz and Pro-Rector (Academics) Dr. Osman Hassan, received the delegation. The visit began with a presentation on NUST’s academic, research, and innovation ecosystem.
The delegation toured key NUST facilities like the NUST Science & Technology Park (NSTP), the School of Interdisciplinary Engineering & Sciences (SINES), and the National Centre of Artificial Intelligence (NCAI), showcasing NUST’s advanced capabilities.
The visit concluded with promising prospects for faculty and student exchange, joint research initiatives, and particularly, collaboration in AI and Health Research.
