TURKISH AEROSPACE INDUSTRIES DELEGATION VISITS NUST FOR EXPLORING AREAS OF MUTUAL COLLABORATION

The Executive Vice President of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) Mr. Ugur Zengin & Mr. Atilla Dogan along with a high level delegation visited National University of Sciences & Technology on the 17th May, 2022. TAI is among the global players in defense and aerospace industries. The delegation was apprised of the latest advancements in technology and research areas in which NUST excels. The delegation also visited National Science and Technology Park at NUST followed by a visit to School of Interdisciplinary Engineering & Science (SINES) and various lab facilities at NUST for future research projects collaboration. TAI also explored the possibility of establishing more research Labs at NUST on the same model of already established TAI Design Lab. The delegation at the end, had a detailed discussion with Pro Rector RIC, Dr. Rizwan Riaz and Director Research, Dr. Hamood Ur Rehman, on multiple areas of research and development aimed at exploring the opportunity of mutual collaborations between NUST and TAI in future on conducting joint research. This highly appreciated visit will ensure future collaborations and sustainable cooperation at both ends.
