Introduction of Speaker: Professor Dr. Irtiza is presently serving as the Dean and Principal of the NUST School of Interdisciplinary Engineering & Sciences. He has 30 years of work experience, including 19 years in academia and R&D, both in Pakistan and the USA, and 11 years of fieldwork as an Engineering Manager.

During his career in academia and R&D, he has taught 13 different PhD/MS-level courses and 9 undergraduate-level courses. He has successfully completed and delivered 21 research projects, with another five currently in progress. Dr. Irtiza has over 160 publications to his credit and has supervised 30 PhD and MS students as a primary advisor. He has received 17 national and international awards related to academics and R&D.
