Topic of Research Seminar: i-Talk: National Geoportals

Abstract: The talk will present the following three geoportals developed at National level for various ministries and provincial departments.

NGDP- National Gender Data Portal: This is a Dynamic and interactive information portal which Collates statistics and knowledge on indicators related to women. It allows evidence-based gender analysis for legislative, policy and programmatic recommendations. Supports the Government of Pakistan to report on international obligations on gender.

NFMS- National Forest Monitoring System: National Forest Management System is a web based Portal to access spatial and statistical data related to Forestry. This portal is a one-point hub for spatial and statistical data inventory.

PAKAGDP- Pakistan Agriculture Geospatial Data Portal: Pakistan Agriculture Geospatial portal is a web based Portal to access spatial data related to Agriculture and Food security. This portal is a one-point hub for spatial data inventory, analysis, and monitoring
