Topic of Research Seminar: Introduction to CBRN Warfare

Abstract: The worldwide availability of advanced military and commercial technologies combined with commonly available transportation and delivery means, may allow adversaries the opportunities to develop and employ CBRN weapons. The use of these weapons have brought disaster to the affected nations in the past and their future use is documented in intelligence assessment.

These weapons are considered Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs) which pose severe threat to unprotected personnel.

We must train ourselves fully in peace time to organize an extraordinary defence against CBRN weapons during war. The first and foremost step in this regard is the understanding of CBRN environment which includes CBRN threats, hazards and their potential effects. threat and its hazards.
