Topic of Research Seminar: Investigation on Rolling Element Bearing Faults Diagnosis with AI
Abstract: Rolling element bearings are critical components in industrial rotating machinery, whose failure can lead to significant downtime and safety risks. Traditional fault diagnosis methods rely on vibration or acoustic analysis show limitations under variable operational conditions; artificial intelligence (AI) offers a promising alternative. This research proposes an AI framework that integrates deep learning architectures such as CNNs, LSTMs, Autoencoders, and Transformers with multi-sensor data fusion to enhance fault detection and severity assessment.
