Abstract: In this talk, we will explore the historical development of mathematics through a collection of intriguing and foundational questions, beginning with problems from antiquity and progressing to those that sparked revolutionary advances in mathematical thought. We will examine how curiosity-driven inquiry, rigorous reasoning, and creative insight transformed these questions into powerful theories, highlighting the evolving nature of mathematics as a discipline shaped by both problem solving and conceptual innovation.
