Topic of Research Seminar: Method of Weighted Residual for Ordinary Differential Equations

Abstract: This seminar investigates the application of various methods, namely the method of weighted residual collocation, least squares moment, and the Galerkin method, for solving linear, nonlinear, and coupled ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The graphical results are also presented to assess the accuracy of these methods. In conclusion, it is found that the Galerkin method exhibits greater efficiency compared to the other methods examined.
