Topic of Research Seminar: Plasma Science and Technology: Applications, Modelling and Simulation

Abstract: Plasma called the fourth state of matter has numerous applications such as plasma processing, biomedical applications, plasma lightening, plasma propulsion, and fusion. In this talk, students will be introduced to the applications of plasma science and technology. Various plasma sources that can be used for different kinds of plasma applications will also be introduced to the students.These plasma sources can be designed by using mathematical modeling and simulation. The modeling and simulation techniques used to model these sources will also be discussed in this talk.
