Seminars and Workshops Symmetry Analysis and Fractional-Order Modeling of Nonlinear Differential Equations in Mathematical Physics and Epidemiology

Topic of Research Seminar: Symmetry Analysis and Fractional-Order Modeling of Nonlinear Differential Equations in Mathematical Physics and Epidemiology

Abstract: This research focuses on the application of Lie symmetry analysis and fractional-order modeling to study nonlinear differential equations that arise in the fields of mathematical physics and epidemiology. The study is divided into two main parts: The first part investigates a third-order nonlinear Schrödinger equation with variable coefficients and analysis of a reaction-diffusion model using symmetry methods to explore its structure and solutions. The second part focuses on the transmission of rabies within animal populations, employing fractional calculus to better capture memory and hereditary effects in disease dynamics..
