Topic of Research Seminar: Synthesis and Evaluation of a Potential ligands for Partitioning of Nuclear Waste

Abstract: One of the most important steps in the processing of the spent nuclear waste is partitioning. Solvent extraction is still considered as most widely applicable strategy for partitioning. The talk will provide an overview of the ligands synthesized and their efficiency for extraction of lanthanides and actinides.
