Abstract: Energy is an essential concept in contemporary society which is necessary for every aspect of our daily activities, including the functioning of our daily lives for powering homes, transportation, and industries. There are different kinds of energy sources, such as thermal, chemical, electrical, nuclear, and renewable sources. Among the most fascinating safe and efficient source is the use of electrochemical energy conversion and storage systems, such as solar cell, fuel cells, batteries, and supercapacitors. Exploring alternate energy sources is worthless without effective energy storage technologies.
