Abstract: Dr Muhammad is a chemical engineer with diverse background in materials engineering and nanotechnology. He has completed his PhD Chemical Engineering at Curtin University in 2018 on “Synthesis of Nanomaterials and their Integration in Wastewater Treatment Processes”. Previously, he has been working at Centre of Excellence for Research in Engineering Materials (CEREM), King Saud University, Saudi Arabia from 2011 to 2014.

He has worked on various funded projects at King Saud University in collaboration with industry, research canters and government departments. He has keen interest in integrating academic research into product/process oriented outcomes through collaborations with industry.

His major research focus is on energy efficient water and wastewater treatment processes and sustainable energy. He is working on electrochemical synthesis of metal organic frameworks for sensor development and water splitting. Muhammad is passionate about developing Nanomaterials for betterment of society.
