Seminars and Workshops The 2D and 3D Exact Analytical Solutions of Partial Differential Equations of Plasma and Astrophysical Jets

Topic of Research Seminar: The 2D and 3D Exact Analytical Solutions of Partial Differential Equations of Plasma and Astrophysical Jets

Abstract: The 2D and 3D exact analytical solutions of the set of partial differential equations for two fluid plasma have been found by choosing particular spatial profiles of density and temperatures. The quasi-neutral plasma creates magnetic and flow fields as it evolves from initial non-equilibrium state with given constant spatial structures of density and temperatures. It is pointed out that the seed magnetic field and plasma vorticity are created simultaneously by the temperature and density gradients. If ions are assumed to be static then the mechanism of the plasma flow generation is killed. Hence Biermann battery mechanism needs to be modified. The physical model and mathematical formalism can explain the generation of plasma jets at astrophysical and laboratory scales. Formation of solar spicules in chromosphere is discussed considering the observed vertical gradients of electron and ion temperatures.
