Seminars and Workshops The Wright type functions in fractional calculus and their applications

Topic of Research Seminar: The Wright type functions in fractional calculus and their applications

Abstract: This seminar provides a comprehensive overview of the special functions commonly known as Wright functions in the literature, defined by E. Mainland Wright, who introduced and investigated this function. We focus on two Wright-type functions, which we refer to as auxiliary functions due to their significant role in fractional calculus applications. Additionally, we explore their relevance in probability theory, particularly their connections to Lévy stable distributions.
